Think the sky’s gotten a bit noisy lately? That’s just pilots for the Wings over Washington Airshow using the Tri-Cities’ skies as their playground. All of the aerial demonstrations are meant to inspire, pilots say.
“Our job is to inspire people to go for their dreams and stick with their goals,” Said Capt. Steve Thompson, a pilot with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, headliners of the show. “That’s how we are where we are today.”
The air show is Wednesday September 24 at Bergstrom Aircraft, 4102 Stearman Avenue in Pasco. Some of the proceeds from the air show will benefit Camp Patriot, the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Foundation and the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters Burn Foundation.
